Irresistible Objects!!

Hello All!!
As a girl raised in the South, I remember as a child going to the antique shop next to my grandfather's barber shop, to both use the bathroom and "look around"! So with that being said, when my boyfriend decided to go "antiquing" this weekend how could I resist?? I had a wonderful time and discovered many projects to come(so stay tuned!).  Although he had no idea what he was getting into, I knew what I would look for, my new found obsession, green glass.  I have completely fallen in love with any type of green glass and go crazy anytime I see it somewhere!! As a college student I normally do not have that much to spend on things of this nature, so I was pretty pleased when I found a few "functional" pieces.

Here is all of the lovely treasures that were found!

It includes:
4 Tea Glasses

1 Odd Tea Glass

A "Relish Dish"

1 small oddly shaped bowl!

Have more projects in the making!! Can not wait to share with yall later this week!!

Have a great Week!!

Cute Cans

Hey Yall!!
As I was sitting there discussing with my parents ideas for inexpensive Valentines Day Gifts for my 3 and 4 year olds, we decided to create these "cute cans" as Valentines Cards holder and a cute and unique way to hold their goodies from that day!
I decided to put up a DIY for these... this may be my newest gift wrap/gift bag idea!
I started out by spray painting the can white(just in case I decided not to cover it all with paper)
After it was completely dry I "Mod Podged" paper onto the can.  I chose to use two different pages of paper which I just into 3.5 inches.
After about 20 or 30 min I put Mod Podge over the whole can and then let it dry.  I usually let it dry over night just to be sure it is completely dry.  When putting Mod Podge on, it looks very cloudy while wet, but once it is dry you can not tell a difference.  Here is the completed can(along with a few others) and one that I have already put the Vinyl letters on!

I can not wait to give these to the kids on Valentines day!!! I believe I may be more excited than they are!!!

See Yall later!!

New To This!

Hello blogging world!
My name is Anna and I am currently a college student and a part time daycare worker.  I absolutely love my job and the children in the daycare.  They constantly inspire me to try new crafts and create new projects! Not only do I enjoy creating things for them but I also enjoy putting my own redneck(or country) charm to them all! Welcome to my crazy world and my journey with this blog!!
